Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

This policy covers the Rampage: Waterfront game, this website and messages you send to game support.

Who is responsible

Wesley Lorrez is the developer and is responsible for information handled for game support. For questions or privacy requests, email lorrez.wesley@gmail.com.

Playing the game

Solo play does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking or analytics services. Solo gameplay takes place on your device. The developer does not receive your gameplay through a hosted game server.

Optional local multiplayer

Two-player co-op connects two devices on the same Wi-Fi. The devices use local network addresses and exchange gameplay inputs and state, including positions, health, score and building damage, over an encrypted connection. No hosted game service receives that traffic.

Room invitations contain temporary connection credentials. Share them only with your intended partner. Room credentials are held in memory and cleared when the room ends. You can play solo without allowing Local Network access.

Optional friends and internet co-op

New testing builds let you create a nickname-based profile. Our Cloudflare service stores a random profile identifier, a hash of your authentication secret, your nickname, accepted friendships and pending invitations. Accepted friends can see whether your game is open and whether you are playing. We do not access your address book.

Friend links are single-use and expire after 24 hours. Requests expire after seven days; game invitations expire after 45 seconds. Expired records are cleaned up within a day. Profiles and friendships remain until you remove them. In Friends, choose Remove my profile to delete your profile and friendships and clear local connection credentials. Uninstalling alone does not delete the server profile; contact support if you lose access.

The service passes connection offers and network candidates between accepted players. These messages are not stored in the database. The game exchanges encrypted inputs and state directly using WebRTC, or through your configured TURN relay when needed. Connection setup exposes network addresses to the other player and to connection providers. Play with people you trust.

Your authentication secret and optional TURN username and password are saved in this iPhone’s Keychain. TURN credentials go only to the provider you configure, never to your friend or our signaling database. A Metered STUN service helps discover network connectivity; you may optionally obtain your own TURN account. Its quota and privacy terms apply. See Metered’s privacy policy.

Cloudflare processes network addresses and request metadata to operate and protect the service. Short-lived hashed network identifiers and counters limit abuse. We do not record gameplay, chat, microphone audio or video. We use profile and connection information to provide the optional service you request, and abuse-prevention information for our legitimate interest in protecting it.

Device permissions and clipboard

The game reads the clipboard when you choose to paste an invitation and writes an invitation when you choose to copy one. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location.

TestFlight and Apple

Apple handles TestFlight installation, testing diagnostics and feedback under its own policies. Feedback or crash reports made available through TestFlight may be used to diagnose problems and improve the game. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request, investigate bugs and keep necessary support records. Support email is handled through Google Gmail. Please avoid sending sensitive information or private room invitations.

We handle support information for our legitimate interests in answering requests and maintaining the game. We retain it only as long as needed for those purposes or applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use support messages for advertising.

This website

This website is hosted on the developer’s existing Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics tools, registration forms or a mailing list.

Service providers may process information outside your country under their applicable privacy terms and safeguards. See the Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information you have sent us, and object to or request restrictions on its use where applicable. Contact lorrez.wesley@gmail.com. You may also raise a concern with your local data protection authority, including the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Updates

If how the game or website handles information changes, we will update this policy and the date above.
